Every story has a shadow—and every writer does as well.
My book coaching is for authors who want to stop second-guessing their stories and start writing with courage and clarity.
Whether you’re shaping an idea, deep in your draft, or wrestling through revision, I help you move through the fears, doubts, and judgements that hold you back.
Together, we’ll uncover the story you’re really trying to tell.
Because the words you’ve been afraid to write?
Those are the ones that are uniquely yours.

Your story already has a pulse—it just needs space to breathe.
My editing process is built for writers who crave honesty, depth, and refinement without losing their voice.
I don’t believe in stripping away what makes your writing unique. Instead, I help you uncover the core of your story and strengthen its structure.
Whether you’re revising your first draft or preparing for publication, I bring both technical precision and creative empathy to every page.
Because editing isn’t about perfection—it’s about clarity, courage, and honoring the vision that belongs only to you.

Welcome to Fragmentz. I'm Jenn. Thank you for being here.
I've been an avid reader and writer forever; growing up in an absurdly small town with one television station encouraged that.
It also means I don't shock easily. Possibly because I read Clive Barker, Stephen King, and Jean Auel's Clan of the Cave Bear series at a young age.
I'm sure people big into banning books would have something to say about it now.
For me, it just explains why I gravitate toward the darker sides of fiction. As an Author Accelerator certified book coach for fiction and freelance editor, all your dark stories are welcome.
Encouraging, compassionate, honest and helpful (I hope)
I'll shamelessly let you know everything that I love about your story and I'll also let you know where you should take a second look and all the reasons why. Helping you improve your skills as a writer with concrete information is a goal of mine. Any thing less--critique without explanation--reminds me too much of those English teachers who couldn't explain why something was a B as opposed to an A-.
No.
While there are programs out there designed to aid in evaluating and editing manuscripts, I don't use them.
You are paying me to read and reread your words with my human eyes, with my human emotions, and with my human insights.
I believe it is an author's personal choice whether or not they want to put their work through a computer program, not mine.
Yes, absolutely.
Feel free to ask and I'm more than happy to work with you on a payment schedule. First Novel and Repeat Client discounts are also available.
Yes. My editing contracts are based on the template offered by Editors Canada.
I am also more than happy to include a Non-Disclosure agreement and a non-AI use clause.
Short answer - No.
While I would absolutely LOVE that for you, publishing success is unpredictable. Whether you aim for self-publishing or traditional publishing, the factors that determine what happens in those arenas are beyond my control.
What I can guarantee is my commitment to you and your story. I will give you tools and feedback designed to strengthen and polish your writing to the best of my knowledge and ability.
